Matrix ry
Matrix ry is the student organization of mathematics students at the University of Helsinki. We organize recreational activities, festivities, and events related to studying mathematics or working as a mathematician for our members. Matrix also promotes the interests of mathematics students in decision-making at the university.

Welcome to the Matrix website! Matrix is an organization of all mathematics students that also welcomes other students from Kumpula and the University of Helsinki. On campus, we stay in our student room in Komero on the 3rd floor of Exactum and in the evenings you can often find us at various events that Matrix organises on average several times a month.

Matrix ry:n sääntömääräinen kevätkokous 2025 // Matrix ry statutory spring meeting 2025
(In English below) Matrix ry pitää sääntömääräisen yhdistyksen kevätkokouksen torstaina 20.2. kello 16 eteenpäin. Kokous järjestetään osoitteessa Leppäsuonkatu 11 Matlu-klusterin kerhotilassa. Sisälle pääset soittamalla ovikelloa "Christina Regina". Kevätkokouksessa käydään läpi vuoden 2024 toimintakertomus ja tilinpäätös sekä vuoden 2025 yhdenvertaisuus ja tasa-arvo suunnitelma että ympäristösuunnitelma. Kokouksen esityslistan kokonaisuudessaan löydät alta. Paikalle ovat tervetulleita kaikki Matrixin jäsenet kommentoimaan ja tuomaan äänensä kuuluviin! Yhdistyksen kokouksissa äänestystilanteissa jokaisella varsinaisella jäsenellä on yksi ääni, mikäli äänestystilanteisiin päädytään. Huomaattehan, että kokoukseen osallistuvien nimet kirjataan kokouksen pöytäkirjaan, joka arkistoidaan kirjanpitolain mukaisesti kuuden vuoden ajaksi. Esteettömyystiedot: Ulko-ovella pieni kynnys. Raskaat ovet, sisäänpääsy soittamalla ovikelloa. Esteetön wc itse Klusteri-tilan ulkopuolella, kulku hissiä käyttämällä. Paikoin ahtaat kulkuväylät. Kokouksen päätös ---------------------------------------------- Matrix's statutory spring meeting is at Klusteri's club room on Thursday 20.2. from 4 pm onwards. The address is Leppäsuonkatu 11. You can get inside by ringing the doorbell labeled "Christina Regina". The meeting will discuss the annual report and financial statement of 2024 as well as the equality and environment plans of 2025. You can find the full agenda of the meeting down below. All members have a right to a vote at the meeting, and all non-voting/auxiliary members have a right to attend. Please note that the names of the people attending the meeting will be written down to the minutes of the meeting, which will be archived for the next six years. Accessibility information: A small threshold at the front door. Heavy doors, entry by ringing the doorbell. Accessible toilet outside the Klusteri space itself, accessed using the elevator. Matrix's website now also in English! In early 2024, our website finally got a long-awaited feature: English translations. You can easily change the language by clicking on the flag in the top right-hand corner (bottom of the page menu on mobile). Not all the information may have been translated yet, but all the English versions will be available soon. Have a good time surfing on the Matrix website!
