Matrix ry

Matrix ry is the student organization of mathematics students at the University of Helsinki. We organize recreational activities, festivities, and events related to studying mathematics or working as a mathematician for our members. Matrix also promotes the interests of mathematics students in decision-making at the university.


Welcome!

Welcome to the Matrix website! Matrix is an organization of all mathematics students that also welcomes other students from Kumpula and the University of Helsinki. On campus, we stay in our student room in Komero on the 3rd floor of Exactum and in the evenings you can often find us at various events that Matrix organises on average several times a month.

Matrixin hallitus kokoustaa maanantaina 22.12. klo 10-18 välillä hallituksen sähköpostilistalla. Kokouksen esityslistan linkin löydät alta! Mikäli haluat osallistua kokoukseen, laitathan etukäteen viestiä puheenjohtajalle. Kokoukseen ovat erittäin tervetulleita kaikki Matrixin jäsenet! <3

Tämä hallituksen kokous on vuoden viimeinen (!!!!), joten laitathan kulunselvitykset ajoissa ennen kokousta, jotta ne saadaan maksettua vielä ennen vuoden loppua! 🙂

The Matrix board is meeting on Monday the 22nd of December from 10 AM until 6 PM on the board’s email list. You can find the link to the agenda of the meeting below. Please message the chair if you want to join the meeting! All members of Matrix are very welcome to the meeting! <3 

This is the last board meeting of the year (!!!!), so please send your reimbursements well before the meeting so that we can pay them before the year ends!🙂

Matrix's website now also in English!

In early 2024, our website finally got a long-awaited feature: English translations. You can easily change the language by clicking on the flag in the top right-hand corner (bottom of the page menu on mobile). Not all the information may have been translated yet, but all the English versions will be available soon.
