Suomen 106. itsenäisyyspäivän kunniaksi Matrix osallistuu 6.12. perinteiseen opiskelijoiden itsenäisyyspäivän soihtukulkueeseen. Juhlallisuudet alkavat seppeleen laskulla Hietaniemen hautausmaan sankariristillä klo 16. Kulkue lähtee liikkeelle Hietaniemen hautausmaan kappelilta noin klo 17, ja saapuu Senaatintorille noin klo 18.15, jossa lauletaan Maamme-laulu. Voit joko saapua paikalle ennen klo 16 seppeleen laskua tai ennen klo 17 kulkueen liikkeellelähtöä. Laita päähäsi ylioppilaslakki sekä säänmukainen varustus (ei haalareita) ja tule mukaan muiden opiskelijoiden kanssa juhlistamaan itsenäistä Suomea! The festivities will begin with the laying of a wreath at the Hero's Cross at Hietaniemi Cemetery at 4:00 PM. The procession will start from the Hietaniemi Cemetery Chapel at around 5:00 PM and is expected to reach Senate Square at approximately 6:15 PM, where the national anthem, Maamme-laulu, will be sung. You can either arrive before the wreath-laying at 4:00 PM or before the procession begins at 5:00 PM. Make sure to wear weather-appropriate clothes (no overalls) and join other students in celebrating independent Finland!
